About us

A chartered community of the Métis Nation BC

Mid Island Métis Nation is based in Nanaimo (Snuneymuxw) and serves Métis people across central Vancouver Island — from Ladysmith in the south to Bowser and Qualicum in the north, east to Gabriola Island, and west to the border with the Alberni Clayoquot Métis Association. We are governed by an elected volunteer board and guided by our Elders.
